This document is a supplement to the MSAB Privacy Policy and describes in more detail MSAB processing activities, the legal ground for the processing and for how long we store the personal data.

How does MSAB collect personal data?

MSAB collects personal data and other information in a variety of ways, including when you choose to:

  • sign up for our subscription services, for example a newsletter;
  • register to attend our training and seminars;
  • participate in surveys or complete a form;
  • offline, for example when you visit one of our offices or during phone calls with sales representatives or other employees of MSAB,
  • otherwise interact with MSAB, for example when you express an interest in our products or services at a trade show, marketing event or other in-person events, or through our website, or when your organisation
  • buy our products and services or receive support; or
  • register and manage MSAB product licenses on our MSAB Customer Portal.
  • In certain situations we may also obtain information about you from our third party partners and suppliers about your interactions with them.

To manage, develop and improve the operations of MSAB, its products, services, websites, portals and applications, and for security and safety reasons.

We process your personal data for internal administrative purposes such as statistics and to develop and improve the operation of MSAB and its products and services. This includes generating reports and statistics for evaluation of MSAB offers, use of products, services, support and websites, managing the customer base and conducting market research. To update, supplement, correct and take other steps to keep your personal data and other data that we process accurate and relevant.

To detect, investigate and prevent activities that may be offensive, detrimental, malicious, fraudulent, criminal and/or violate our policies or applicable laws, to ensure network and information security, to assess performance of our websites, portals and other applications and use thereof.

Time limits are established for erasure or for periodic reviews. We take steps to ensure that personal data which are inaccurate are rectified or deleted.
